What I Do

I've been working in journalism since 2017, when I first started out as an Assignment Desk Assistant at KOMU 8 News in Columbia, Missouri. My very first phone call was a viewer asking me when Wheel of Fortune would be on. Isn't journalism a charming business?

I'm no longer answering the phone at KOMU 8, but I'm always happy to take calls from sources. I've been a multimedia journalist with KOMU since 2018, responsible for pitching, shooting, writing, and editing the stories you see on the evening news. I'm also writing stories for the website and keeping the viewers up to date on social media.
